此筝主要用料为桐木、白松、黑檀木，装配德国进口钢丝专业级琴弦，面板和底板采用源自兰考的专业级桐木。所有木材均经过浸泡去渣，蒸煮去油，储藏风干等多道工序。筝体精心打磨，木原色清水制作，质感明，色泽华丽。筝首筝尾采用彩绘工艺，灵感源于张泌所做古诗《蝴蝶儿》：“蝴蝶儿，晚春时。阿娇初著淡黄衣，倚窗学画伊。还似花间见，双双对对飞。无端和泪拭胭脂，惹教双翅垂。”叙述了少女在描画蝴蝶过程中的细微的情思变化。此筝音色醇厚悠扬，使用愈久音质愈醇美。
