For nearly two decades, the guzheng has been at the centre of Qing’s life.

As the founder of Guzheng World, Qing created this platform to help more people around the world discover, learn, and choose the right guzheng with confidence.

Based in London and working internationally, she combines the perspectives of performer, educator, examiner, and long-time guzheng specialist — supporting students, musicians, and families across different countries and stages of their musical journey.

Alongside performing and teaching, Qing has spent years helping players select instruments that suit their goals, budgets, and lifestyles. Having personally tested, compared, and worked with guzhengs across different makers and levels, she believes that finding the right instrument can shape a player’s relationship with music for years to come.

Whether through performance, education or helping someone choose their first instrument, her goal remains the same:

to help more people build a meaningful and lasting relationship with the guzheng.
